Waterproofing:
We provide a full-service experience from investigation to final walkthrough. We will work with you to determine the issue(s), develop solutions, and deliver on expectations.
We specialize in the application of fully reinforced hot-applied monolithic membrane systems using Hydrotech MM6125. This seamless membrane system has self-healing properties, elongation and low temperature flexibility, can withstand submersed water conditions, and maintains extremely superior substrate adhesion compared to other waterproofing methods - when properly installed and maintained these systems last for decades.
The best solution for many applications including but not limited to:
- balconies with parapet details
- building wall details
- cold joints
- expansion joints
- flat/low-slope roofs
- foundation walls
- parkade ramps
- parking decks
- patios
- planters
- plaza decks
- terraces
- trench drains
Big or small, if it leaks, we can fix it. For bigger jobs, setting up a temporary secured compound on location is required. As we are often working near living spaces, housekeeping is very important to us. We keep a clean and organized jobsite to make the presence of construction work as minimally invasive as possible.
Roofing
Services for flat/low-slope roofing systems (Built-up Roofs (BUR), Modified Bitumen Roofs (MBR), and Inverted Roofs) include but are not limited to:
- general maintenance and clean-up
- investigation
- removal and repair of abandoned/deleted roof penetrations
- roof inspection reports
- roof replacement
- RTU curb installation
- skylight installation
- small or large patch/repair
- vent/pipe jack installation
When it comes to your roof, it is important to keep maintenance in mind - don't let small fixes turn in to big issues by leaving them unattended. Here we have some seemingly harmless vegetation growth that had rooted itself around, and in to, a mechanical roof drain causing water to pond.
Caulk eventually fails, which means water getting where it shouldn't - this is the common sort of detail that often gets neglected when thinking about the general service and maintenance of your roof.
Your roof may have many visitors from various trades over time. Unfortunately, some contractors don't practice good housekeeping. It is not uncommon to see sharps and fasteners scattered across the surface of a roof that could cause punctures if stepped on. Below is a pile we collected after walking a large commercial roof with a rolling magnet.
